Responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain reliable systems supporting POS operations, inventory, and daily store transactions.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Git, GitHub Actions) for fast and reliable updates.
• Build and manage scalable web applications for product listings, pricing and promotions.
• Integrate frontend with backend services (APIs, databases, payment systems like Fiserv).
• Create real-time dashboards for sales, inventory levels, and operational insights using Prometheus, Grafana and AppDynamics.
• Design and optimize database schemas, indexing strategies, and query performance (PostgreSQL/MySQL).
• Define and track SLIs/SLOs to maintain uptime and performance for critical store systems.
• Manage infrastructure and environments (dev/staging/prod) with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or similar).
• Set up monitoring, alerting, and logging to quickly detect and resolve issues.
• Manage data backups, user access control, and basic security practices.
• Act as the primary technical owner, handling end-to-end system design, deployment, and support.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and Git-based workflows.
• Proficiency in Linux systems, shell scripting (Bash/Python), and production troubleshooting.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with monitoring, logging, and observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana).

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, systems administration, or full-stack development.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Relevant certifications in AWS are a plus.
